Caracol Tour
Caracol (Snail) is the largest known Maya city in Belize. In AD 650, the urban area of Caracol had a radius of approximately 177 square kilometers. It boasts the tallest man-made structure in the country and a dynasty that was desired and looked up upon by many, while hated and feared by others. It covered an area much larger than present-day Belize City (the largest metropolitan area in the country of Belize) and supported more than twice the modern city’s population. Caracol is a must-see, as it is one of the largest cities of the classic period.

Xunantunich Tour
In the Maya language, Xunantunich means “maiden of the rock” or “stone woman.” It is situated on the Western or George Price Highway, across the river from the village of San Jose Soccotz. It can be reached by ferry daily between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.. There is a legend from the 1800s which tells of a village gentleman who, while hunting, saw a beautiful Maya woman in traditional dress; He approached her, but she quickly disappeared into the cave. After relating the sighting, other villagers, including the priest, returned to the site but saw nothing. there are stories of other villagers who claimed to have seen her, but upon trying to catch up with her, she always disappeared.

Cahal Pech
Cahal Pech is a Maya site located near the town of San Ignacio in the Cayo District of Belize. The site was a palatial, hilltop home for an elite Maya family, and though the most major construction dates to the Classic period, evidence of continuous habitation has been dated to as far back as 1200 BCE during the Early Middle Formative period (Early Middle Preclassic), making Cahal Pech one of the oldest recognizably Maya sites in Western Belize
